At a time when most dotcoms
in India and across the globe are either ‘history’ or
still recovering from the serious economic blow, the decision to
launch a matrimonial portal was definitely not an easy task for
us. But then, as they say, “where there is a will, there is
a way” so, driven by the sincerity and dedication of our motto
& after a lot of serious thinking, we decided to venture into
the task of reaching our social mission; and we named it ShaadiKaro.com.
We are a bunch of young,
talented, dedicated & creative enthusiasts who share the same
vision, passion & ambition. The vision of future, the passion
of working hard to reach our objectives and the ambition of doing
something, which helps people en masse. Determination and hard work
combined with wit, experience and humility works as a support system
for us.
In most cases, profit
figures are the ‘core’ objective in a business. At ShaadiKaro,
we have our own reasons. Slightly different, though we’re
glad to admit that profit has always remained as ‘one’
of the many & less significant motives we have in mind. So,
with all the efforts & passion involved, ShaadiKaro
has never really assumed the status of a ‘Profit driven’
enterprise for us.
On the contrary, in the
near 3 man-years which took us to develop ShaadiKaro a
major part of it, devoted to an extensive, across-the-board research,
exploring the length and breadth of the current matchmaking scene-
we learnt to believe in the honesty of our social mission and we
realized the strength and significance underlying these words that
define our role:
 To create awareness
amongst millions about the most neglected yet crucially significant
aspect of their lives
To make sure
that the biggest decision of their lives turns out to be the best
one by blending the oldest tradition with the
latest technology
To make them
realize the difference between compromise & compatibility
To convince them
that marriage is not just about finding a 'soul mate', but also
a 'mind mate' & ' life mate' too!
And last but
not the least, to make sure that they stay happily married forever.
With an honest faith &
conviction in our vision, we have just begun the journey & we
have a long way to go. And, with all that we have to offer, we look
forward to your support and co-operation in helping us accomplish
our goals. After all, we believe that "the happiest of
